What You'll Be DoingReview and manage tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations for all entity types, focusing on individual HNW and/or real estate
Review financial statements, perform accounting and adjusting entries, and handle bank reconciliations and client books
Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liabilities
Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
Prepare or review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift, and estate tax returns
Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandums outlining findings and conclusions
Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
Communicate directly with clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
Lead the department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
What You Need4-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in individual tax compliance and planning (experience with CS Suite and UltraTax is a plus)
Tax research experience (RIA)
Experience with gift, estate, and trust returns is a plus
Experience in partnership tax is a plus
Outgoing and friendly personality, and a team player
Forward-thinking, always looking for ways to improve, learn, and grow
Desire and ability to train, mentor, lead, and develop staff
