Location: Remote. Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Senior Accountant, this position collaborates closely with the CFO and Operations Staff, utilizing platforms such as Great Plains and QuickBooks to support monthly closing activities.
QualificationsThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for a range of monthly close activities, including bank account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, recording inventory valuations, and preparing/filing sales tax returns. Additionally, the role involves providing daily revenue reports to the CFO and assisting with ad hoc projects as assigned by the finance leadership team. Other tasks may be required as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
- Familiarity with month-end close processes
- CPA certification preferred
