Get It Recruit - Finance is Hiring a Remote UXOCOE CM/C-IED Portfolio Manager - Fort Belvoir, VA -- Remote | WFH

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the critical fields of countermine (CM) and counter improvised explosive devices (C-IED)? Here's an exciting opportunity to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA, where you can leverage your expertise to contribute to the reduction of unexploded ordnance (UXO) threats in both military and civilian contexts.
This role is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret clearance.
As part of our team supporting the Unexploded Explosive Ordinance Center of Excellence (UXOCOE), you'll play a pivotal role in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of UXO clearance research, development, testing, and evaluation across various Department of Defense (DoD) mission areas. Working closely with military project managers, government agencies, and civilian organizations, you'll collaborate to support high-level decision-makers.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the CM/C-IED Portfolio Manager for the DoD Unexploded Ordnance Center of Excellence (UXOCOE), supporting DODD5101.13E requirements.
  • Coordinate with governmental departments, services, other DoD components, industries, and academia to gather validated requirements and technologies/programs for CM and C-IED.
  • Maintain and update technology and program information within the UXOCOE Joint Counter Explosive Hazards Data Management System (JCEHDMS) in both classified and unclassified domains.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations within the CM/C-IED Portfolio.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Director on the status and progress of the CM/C-IED Portfolio.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on CM/C-IED mission areas within UXOCOE.
  • Advise the Director on policy issues related to requirements development for counter explosive hazards within the CM/C-IED Portfolio.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6 years of experience in relevant US military, DoD, or research and development positions.
  • Understanding of technologies used in CM/C-IED Portfolio.
  • Ability to evaluate technology data and interpret information relevant to CM/C-IED issues.
  • Knowledge of DoD and services structure.
  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) up to 10% of the time.
Additional Desired Experience And Skills
  • Familiarity with CM/C-IED Portfolio technologies and programs.
  • Understanding of DoD's CM and C-IED Research and Engineering communities.
  • Knowledge of DoD's requirements development and acquisition process.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DoD computer authorized applications.
  • Prior experience as a US military Combat Engineer or EOD officer.
