OverviewMedical Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive psychosocial services both in-office and via Telehealth. The LCSW will coordinate psychosocial community services in adherence to NHSI standards and regulatory requirements, facilitating educational programs and implementing effective intervention strategies.
Job DutiesAssist in planning and implementing psychosocial programs.
Develop and deliver education and counseling programs for patients and community groups.
Provide counseling to patients and educate on psychosocial needs, including during pregnancy.
Conduct surveys and studies on psychosocial trends as directed.
Stay abreast of recent research in psychosocial health and disseminate findings.
Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention as necessary.
Coordinate and implement community and social programs aligned with NHSI grants/contracts.
Collaborate with clinical and community health teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Conduct assessments using appropriate tests and measurement scales.
Deliver in-service presentations and educational sessions to staff and community members.
Share community service information and conduct health-related educational presentations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Previous experience in ambulatory care, especially in a FQHC health center, is advantageous.
Ability to work independently, manage staff, and thrive in high-pressure situations.
Sensitivity and familiarity with Hispanic culture, family customs, and child-rearing practices.
Experience in multicultural settings and willingness to engage in further multicultural training if needed.
Licensed Certified Social Worker required.
Work EnvironmentIn-person and remote (Telehealth) settings.
