We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing medical records to identify and address documentation deficiencies. You will serve as a valuable resource and subject matter expert, providing guidance to other coding staff. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and verifying documentation to support accurate diagnoses, procedures, and treatment outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze medical records to identify documentation deficiencies.
Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for other coding staff.
Review and verify documentation to support diagnoses, procedures, and treatment results.
RequirementsProven work experience as a Medical Coder or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records (EMRs).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
CPC certification required.
Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In Medical Coding.Experience with acute coding is essential; MEDITECH experience is preferred.
Additional InformationPay Rate: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour. The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on factors such as education, work experience, location, specific job duties, and certifications.
