Supervisory/Managerial Experience: At least three years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role related to file and record management.
General Related Experience: A minimum of five years of experience working with electronic medical records, including the electronic transmission of medical records.
Certification: Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or equivalent, as recognized by CMS.
Medicare Program Knowledge: Familiarity with the Medicare program is preferred.
Education And CertificationAn Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field of study.
