Job Summary And QualificationsAs a Neuroscience Data Abstractor Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our operational activities, focusing on data abstraction for the Neuroscience Registry.
ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance and support to abstraction staff, ensuring smooth workflow.
Facilitate training and development initiatives for team members.
Collaborate with Clinical Data Abstraction Manager to enhance processes and services.
Conduct quality control monitoring and ensure accuracy and timeliness of completed abstracts.
Follow established standards and instructions to abstract all reportable cases.
Maintain or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Report team and individual accomplishments, progress, and challenges to the manager.
Resolve errors and ensure data integrity within the system.
QualificationsPreferred undergraduate (Associate or Bachelor) degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Health Information Management, Coding, Nursing, or Health Registry abstraction.
CAISS credential through the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine required.
RHIT, RHIA, CCS, LVN, or RN certification preferred.
