Get It Recruit - Healthcare is Hiring a Part-Time Licensed Therapist for Healthcare Professionals (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC/PsyD/PhD) Near New York, NY

DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) to join our team part-time, providing support to healthcare professionals. This role involves delivering psychotherapy to medical first responders through telemedicine.
As part of our commitment to caring for frontline medical responders in several hospitals across New York, you will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis for psychotherapy sessions and meetings. We take care of all credentialing, referrals, appointment scheduling, and billing, allowing you to focus entirely on your patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions via telemedicine
  • Develop personalized therapeutic treatment plans for healthcare workers
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Collaborate with our team while we handle credentialing, referrals, appointment scheduling, billing, and accounting tasks
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD) in the state of New York
  • At least two years of clinical experience treating individuals
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals or first responders
  • A willingness to learn and collaborate within a diverse team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues
  • Openness to acquiring new skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of diverse communication styles and priorities
  • Experience using telemedicine tools or online video communication platforms
  • Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
  • Familiarity with clinical diagnostic and assessment instruments (e.g., PHQ-9) to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes
