Order and interpret necessary sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep tests.
Diagnosis And Treatment
Diagnose sleep disorders utilizing thorough patient evaluations and diagnostic results.
Create and implement personalized treatment plans that may include behavioral therapy, medication management, and recommendations for CPAP or other devices.
Adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement for patients.
Patient Education
Educate patients and their families on effective sleep hygiene, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications to improve sleep quality.
Provide comprehensive guidance on the use of sleep devices and techniques for managing sleep disorders.
Collaboration And Communication

QualificationsEducation:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Sleep Medicine or equivalent experience.
Experience
3-5 years of clinical experience in sleep medicine.
Experience in telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred.
Licensure
A valid and unrestricted medical license in the state(s) where patient care will be provided.
DEA license for prescribing controlled substances, if applicable.
Skills
