Are you passionate about event planning and looking to grow your skills in the exciting world of meetings and conventions? We have an incredible opportunity for a Hybrid Annual Meeting Coordinator to join our medical association team! In this hybrid role, you'll play a vital part in coordinating our organization's annual meeting - a large-scale event that brings together healthcare professionals from around the country. Working both remotely and on-site for 3 days during the event, you'll be responsible for overseeing all logistics, from securing function spaces to managing audio-visual and internet requirements. Key Responsibilities
Conduct analytical research on past meeting data to determine future needs
Create detailed timelines and assist with budgeting for the annual meeting
Serve as the logistics point of contact for industry-sponsored symposia events
Utilize new technologies to streamline processes and identify cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with hotels, convention centers, vendors, and clients to gather and communicate logistical information
Maintain updated floor plans, drawings, and the annual meeting logistics database
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
Outgoing personality and eagerness to grow in the meetings and conventions industry
