**Job Title: Application Specialist - Natural Food Colors**
Are you passionate about creating vibrant, natural color solutions for the food and beverage industry? We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Application Specialist to join our innovative team!
About The RoleAs our new Application Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in developing natural color solutions for a wide variety of food and beverage products. Working closely with our Applications Manager and collaborating with our Technical Sales team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' products and our company's success.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Color Matching and Recommendations:
  • Analyze client requests and provide expert color matching services
  • Conduct trials to replicate customer formulations and processes
  • Perform stability testing to ensure long-lasting color solutions
  • Product Development and Showcasing:
  • Create eye-catching demonstration samples for customer meetings and trade shows
  • Develop innovative applications across various product categories (beverages, confections, dairy, snacks, bakery, cereal, and more)
  • Technical Support and Analysis:
  • Design and execute experiments to showcase our natural colors' performance
  • Analyze data and provide technical recommendations to our Sales Team
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offerings
  • Laboratory and Equipment Management:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab space
  • Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Food Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Development, preferably in ready-to-drink beverages
  • Strong foundation in food science, engineering, and scientific principles
  • Familiarity with food processing systems
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Creative problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges
Additional Information
  • Location: Dallas, NC (on-site position, not remote or hybrid)
  • Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Hours: Flexible within 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required
