Job Title: Program Coordinator - Voter Registration Campaign About UsWe are a national non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating a more representative democracy. Our mission is to register millions of underrepresented voters across the United States through a large-scale, coordinated civic engagement campaign active through the 2024 election cycle. We aim to fundamentally change the makeup of the electorate and increase the political power of traditionally underrepresented communities. Our approach involves directly funding organizations to execute voter registration and quality control operations. We actively collaborate with these organizations to ensure their programs are effective and promote investment in emerging communities' futures. The RoleWe're seeking an experienced field staffer with one to two election cycles of experience to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role, you'll work closely with our Senior Program Manager to support partner programs within our Arizona Program. Key Responsibilities
Internal Systems Management:
Set up and manage internal systems for tracking partner programs
Lead day-to-day tracking of state program progress
Conduct daily data updates from states
Program Development and Support:
Assist in developing internal reports on state programs
Help develop and finalize pre-program materials, including goal setting, budgets, and agreements
Training Logistics and Coordination:
Coordinate with the Training Director to schedule and secure logistics for partner training
Assist with customizing and sharing training materials
Support the Senior Program Manager with partner site visits
What We're Looking For
Experience working in voter registration and civic engagement
Proficiency with databases like VAN and spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets, Excel)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Experience in quality control for voter registration programs
Cultural competency to work with diverse communities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Adaptability and a growth mindset
Goal-oriented approach with a track record of achieving ambitious targets
Additional Requirements
40% travel required for on-site program management and trainings
Must reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate within three months of hire
Valid driver's license and ability to drive
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including recommended boosters)
