Get It Recruit - Hospitality is Hiring an Assistant Project Manager - Construction Risk Management Near Coppell, TX

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients throughout the construction process by managing and mitigating risks.
  • Schedule site visits and address any delays or access issues that arise.
  • Manage required project documentation and provide weekly updates and reports.
  • Assist in preparing Construction Risk Management proposals and final invoices.
  • Work on diverse commercial projects, including multi-family residential, office spaces, hospitality, student housing, medical offices, congregate care facilities, retail spaces, and distribution/warehousing centers.
  • Review construction documents for completeness and adherence to best practices, ensuring proper distribution to relevant project managers or consultants.
  • Maintain familiarity with industry-standard documents such as Pay Applications, lien waivers, Gantt charts, change orders, and more.
  • Utilize software tools for report writing, project tracking, and file sharing.
Client Interaction
  • Provide advice to clients, typically equity investors or construction lenders, on various project risks such as design, quality, constructability, completion, schedule, and costs.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients through email and phone to ensure a smooth project experience.
  • This position is fully remote, offering flexibility in work location.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in construction administration, architecture, engineering, or a similar field.
  • Understanding of the entitlement/permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements.
  • Knowledge of construction best practices, general building codes, and various types of buildings.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
