Get It Recruit - Hospitality is Hiring a Remote Development Operations Coordinator - Remote | WFH

Reporting to the Philanthropy Database Manager, the Development Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission. This position is an integral part of the Philanthropy Team, closely collaborating with operations to execute gift processing, data hygiene in the CRM system, and supporting the organization's philanthropy, marketing, and overall data management activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Program:
  • Process incoming donations through various channels, prioritizing lockbox and mail.
  • Compose and generate timely acknowledgments for donors.
  • Maintain an accurate donor database, including changes of address, mailing list preferences, status updates, and duplicate address management.
  • Properly code donor accounts for mailing frequency and preferred contact methods.
  • Assist with data queries and report generation.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding constituent records, transactions, data, research, and communications, respecting anonymity as directed by policy.
  • Scan and upload written communications to donor profiles.
Donor Stewardship
  • Manage the memorial and tribute program.
  • Notify appropriate staff and leadership upon receipt of major gifts.
  • Coordinate the New Donor Introduction program.
  • Coordinate other donor stewardship programs, including birthday/anniversary recognition, giving anniversaries, holiday outreach, etc.
Research
  • Research corporations for funding opportunities, including matching gift programs.
  • Perform routine web-based searches using various search engines.
  • Analyze grant makers to identify potential funding sources for specific projects and programs.
  • Research individual donors and build giving profiles outlining their relationship history, interests, and connections with the organization.
  • Monitor donation reports to identify potential new prospects for major and annual fund giving.
  • Prepare prospect research profiles for potential and identified major gift and high-level annual gift prospects.
  • Ensure all relevant information is entered into the CRM system.
Other Duties
  • Open and sort daily mail.
  • Assist with activities such as special events, cause marketing campaigns, annual giving campaigns, and donor stewardship initiatives as directed.
  • Monitor supplies and notify teammates before shortfalls.
  • Receive and respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, or letter to obtain necessary data or clarify information.
Qualifications
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university.
  • Previous database/CRM experience preferred.
  • Passion for the organization's mission and ability to demonstrate core values (Stewardship, Teamwork, Agility, and Respect).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and other web-based applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, handle interruptions, maintain focus, and produce accurate work.
  • Positive attitude and passion for helping others.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday onsite at the facility and in the community as needed.
  • Flexibility granted in accordance with the Remote Work/Working From Home Policy.
  • Occasional weekend (Saturday/Sunday) or evening hours may be required.
  • Meeting attendance may require overnight travel.
  • Special events and other projects may require evening and/or weekend work.
