Position OverviewAs the Director of Event Sponsorship Sales, you'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and fostering relationships with key partners. We're looking for a high-energy individual who's passionate about creating world-class sponsorship experiences. Reporting StructureThis position reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Head of Brand Partnerships. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive events-based sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract completion.
Collaborate with our marketing, operations, and events teams to identify and create innovative sponsorship opportunities.
Craft creative, 360-degree multi-platform campaigns that align with brand objectives.
Establish and communicate clear sales strategies and goals to leadership.
Pursue new business opportunities across consumer, professional, and B2B categories.
Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to capitalize on market opportunities.
Work cross-functionally to enhance existing offers and introduce new solutions.
Negotiate strategic partnerships to contribute to revenue growth.
Represent our company at industry events and source new partnership prospects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum 6 years of direct event sales experience, with a strong background in live entertainment, hospitality, summits, sports, and pop culture events.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
In-depth knowledge of the events and sponsorship sales industry.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and project management abilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in G-Suite, Keynote, and CRM systems.
Passion for sports and our company's mission.
Startup experience preferred.
Location and Work Environment: This is a New York-based position with a hybrid work model. We require a minimum of three days per week in our NYC headquarters. Benefits And Perks
