Role OverviewWe're looking for a Director of Audio Video (AV) to lead our AV infrastructure deployment, support live events, manage projects, and develop talent. This role oversees a team responsible for designing, delivering, optimizing, and supporting various AV solutions, including conference rooms, event spaces, and digital signage. Based in Newark, NJ, this position provides global support and collaborates with technology teams, facilities stakeholders, finance partners, and leadership across the company. What You'll Do
Lead a team of onsite AV Support Engineers handling day-to-day end-user support and maintenance of conference and meeting room hardware
Manage inventories, budgets, and lifecycle management of AV equipment
Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance AV services
Ensure project plans are on target and comprehensively executed
Optimize the live event program for efficiency and customer delight
Serve as an escalation point and provide technical leadership
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
Create regular reports to share insights with leadership
Hire, coach, and mentor talent, building a strong team
Drive operational excellence through metrics, customer feedback analysis, and process improvement

7 years of experience working with AV teams
3 years of experience in architecting, designing, and implementing AV infrastructure
3 years of experience managing projects, budgets, and inventory lifecycles
3 years of experience creating code for AV platforms
Proficiency with AV technologies (e.g., Extron, Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, Shure, Poly)
Knowledge of network technology, including video and audio over IP
5 years of people management experience
3 years of experience supporting live events
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with video conference and teleconference equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to operate autonomously
Detail-oriented with a talent for multitasking in a fast-paced environment
