The RoleAs our Director of Podcast Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day management and ongoing transformation of our podcast network. This exciting opportunity combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational expertise.
What You'll Do
- Lead Production Operations: Partner with our production team to coordinate, oversee, and improve daily podcast operations, focusing on quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Manage and Grow Talent: Work alongside our Podcast Content Manager to craft short and long-term content strategies across our entire podcast network.
- Increase Reach: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new tactics for increasing downloads, views, and overall engagement.
- Attract and Develop New Talent: Leverage your network and relational skills to source and nurture talent within the team.
- Scale the Network: Oversee strategic and operational processes to help us grow our podcast network organically and through acquisitions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead initiatives and strategic collaborations with other teams, including Research and Events.
- A podcast enthusiast with a passion for organizing, leading, and growing talented teams of producers and show talent.
- An authentic leader who thrives on collaboration and creating high-quality content.
- A process and production operations expert who loves bringing structure and organization to your work.
- Someone who approaches tasks with an owner's mindset, recognizing that small improvements can lead to significant impact.
- Comfortable with experimentation and adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 3 years of experience managing professional podcast productions at scale, preferably in crypto, finance, or high-growth startups.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining podcast schedules and ensuring timely production.
- Hands-on experience in directly producing shows, with an eye for professionalism and elegance.
- Deep enthusiasm and passion for crypto and the future of the industry.
- Background in podcast promotions across social and email platforms.
- Experience growing a production team from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze listener feedback and improve team outcomes based on results.
