DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Customer Outreach Specialist to join our team, focused on enhancing the energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts of commercial and industrial facilities. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in lead generation through cold-calling and networking, contributing to our important environmental mission. You will provide outreach, education, and technical assistance throughout the sales process, with occasional travel to events in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent our organization at events, fostering positive brand awareness.
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with our existing customer base.
  • Travel: Travel within the assigned region for site visits and events as needed.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize your sales-driven approach to identify leads and manage prospects, effectively communicating our mission and waste management opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Establish rapport and provide excellent customer service over the phone or in person, simplifying complex concepts and conveying our principles and values.
  • Client Communication: Secure agreements on deliverables and ensure clear communication with clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain active communication with program operations and management teams, providing consistent updates on project status and customer concerns.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Remote Work Setup: High-speed internet access and a distraction-free working location during business hours.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for events.
