Exciting Opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role based in Las Vegas, offering a combination of remote work and in-office presence.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by cultivating key relationships with new accounts and fostering existing client partnerships. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around delivering exceptional client experiences, ensuring financial profitability, and actively contributing to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, prioritizing outstanding service delivery and financial profitability.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities, expertly qualify leads, and develop innovative program strategies to achieve individual annual sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Experience Designers and Creative Teams, to develop compelling proposals and program visions that align with clients' goals and budgets.
  • Conduct dynamic presentations to prospective clients, showcasing your expertise and ability to craft unforgettable experiences.
  • Arrange and conduct site inspections, entertain clients, and build strong personal rapports.
  • Finalize contracts, secure program deposits, and seamlessly transition to the event production team.
  • Quantify projected budgets, track revenue, and ensure financial targets are achieved through meticulous record-keeping in the company's CRM system.
  • Manage travel and client marketing budgets, adhering to appropriate approval processes.
  • Initiate sales calls, follow up on leads, and maintain regular communication with clients and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, destinations, and service offerings, sharing insights with the Global Sales team to enhance their knowledge.
  • Implement and execute business and marketing plans specific to your destination.
  • Collaborate with Event Producers and other teams to exceed client expectations and deliver memorable experiences.
  • Follow up on future program opportunities and generate leads through the company's referral program.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the DMC, incentive travel, event management, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of client development, including new business development, lead follow-up, client qualification, proposal presentation, and closing business.
  • Expertise in program design and development, from inception through contract negotiation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide solutions to challenges that may arise during program development and sales.
  • Proficiency in interpreting complex program requirements, RFPs, contracts, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers and partners on behalf of clients.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including calculating program costs, profit margins, and performing other mathematical tasks related to proposal development and contract negotiation.
