Our team comprises talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, including musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers who have experience with leading companies in tech, media, and entertainment.
The RoleWe're seeking an experienced and creative Head of Events to join our team in New York City. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days in the office and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee our events practice, managing multiple functions and stakeholders for high-profile, revenue-generating events that celebrate and engage our community of independent artists.
- Define and execute the annual event roadmap, balancing marketing needs and client sponsor requirements.
- Manage events end-to-end, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with our brand vision and sponsor KPIs.
- Forecast and manage budgets across the event portfolio, optimizing spend for maximum impact.
- Build and lead a high-performing Events team, including event production, talent management, and project management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities and develop meaningful brand integrations.
- Ensure all events are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with our company values.
- 8 years of experiential production experience, with a strong track record of executing successful events at various scales.
- Excellent strategic planning and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing various stakeholder needs.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience in budget forecasting and financial management for events.
- Passion for music and supporting independent artists.
- Experience in experiential marketing and sponsorship integration is a plus.
- Competitive salary range: $170,000 - $200,000 (may vary based on experience and location)
