Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) to join our growing team. This remote position is perfect for a motivated sales professional with a proven track record in the hospitality industry, particularly with upscale brands. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth and managing sales efforts for a portfolio of hotels in the Northeast region.
Responsibilities
  • **Strategic Sales Planning:** Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets for your assigned portfolio of hotels.
  • **Account Management:** Proactively manage key accounts, build strong relationships, and identify new business opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • **Team Leadership:** Provide guidance and support to on-property sales teams, fostering a collaborative and success-driven environment.
  • **Market Analysis:** Stay current with industry trends and local market conditions to capitalize on revenue opportunities and mitigate threats.
  • **Budget Management:** Monitor and control sales-related expenses to ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
  • **Reporting:** Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, market share analysis, and other key performance indicators to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • **Experience:** A minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-property role. Proven success with upscale brands is required.
  • **Education:** A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • **Skills:**
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • **Personal Attributes:**
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales and the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, maintaining productivity and effectiveness.
