Responsibilities

• Assist guests by selling future room reservations and making changes to existing reservations in a knowledgeable and timely manner
• Complete comprehensive in-house training on effective selling techniques and standards, and utilize these skills to maximize revenue
• Answer all incoming calls and emails with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency
• Develop authentic connections with potential guests in a reservation sales environment
• Provide guests with detailed information concerning the facilities, locations, services, and surrounding areas
• Process all guest reservations accurately, including guest follow-up and obtaining necessary information in the PMS system
• Meet or exceed established booking conversion rates, average handling time guidelines, and other performance metrics associated with this position

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• General computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office and PMS applications
• Ability to interact with internal and external guests while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, confident telephone skills, and etiquette
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with different levels of management
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
