Get It Recruit - Hospitality is Hiring a Strategic Associate Director of Advancement Operations Near Hanover, NH

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead and execute critical systems and logistics for our Advancement Office. This key role will manage priorities for the president, provost, and trustees, serving as the primary contact for senior leadership and the Board Chair. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and possess a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage mission-critical systems and logistics for the Office of the Senior Vice President for Advancement.
  • Plan and oversee all logistics for the President's Leadership Council (PLC) meetings, which may occur up to three times a year, both on and off-campus, or virtually.
  • Work effectively with others in high-pressure situations, exercising good judgment while managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines to support donor and volunteer engagement strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience in a complex organization.
  • Intelligence, professionalism, and diplomacy to work with and gain the respect of senior officers, Advancement colleagues, faculty, and high-level donors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across the organization and interact effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
  • Problem-solving orientation and strong project management skills.
  • Solid research, analytical, and technical skills, with a sense of curiosity.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and strong project management skills.
  • Experience with development and alumni administrative systems or other higher education applications.

  • Exceptional organizational capabilities and a demonstrated ability to meet numerous and competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success working in a large, complex environment where collaboration with multiple stakeholders is essential.
  • Highly discreet with demonstrated good judgment.
  • Strategic thinker; proactive; able to anticipate.
  • Strong work ethic and creative energy.
  • An understanding of higher education and philanthropy.
