Position OverviewWe're seeking a talented Website Marketing Manager to ensure our company's website serves as an effective marketing and communications platform. This key role will drive the strategic direction of our website, combining technical expertise, digital marketing knowledge, and a strategic mindset to support our organization's business and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive website strategy aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
- Enhance user experience (UX) by optimizing navigation, content, design, and functionality.
- Collaborate with the web development team to ensure a seamless mobile experience.
- Work with SEO and SEM teams to optimize digital content for search engines and paid campaigns.
- Develop requirement briefs for new web initiatives and oversee their implementation.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, assessing risks and removing roadblocks.
- Communicate timelines and workflows with key stakeholders.
- Monitor and provide quality assurance for website initiatives.
- Ensure website content is fresh, up-to-date, and optimized for marketing campaigns.
- Utilize web analytics tools to monitor performance and generate data-driven insights.
- Conduct A/B tests to optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet branding and marketing requirements.
- Ensure website compliance with data privacy and accessibility standards.
- Manage and mentor a Web Producer to maintain high standards of quality and user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, web development, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in website management or digital marketing
- Proficiency in web content management systems and analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of web design principles, HTML, CSS, and basic coding languages
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Understanding of SEO best practices and SEM strategies
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Knowledge of web security and data privacy compliance standards
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
