ResponsibilitiesJob Details:
Design, develop, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems.
Create and manage database solutions to store and retrieve company information.
Install, configure, and maintain data engineering platforms.
Perform data analysis to ensure all systems meet company requirements.
Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members to enhance data acquisition opportunities.
Develop processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
Implement data flow to connect operational systems, data for analytics, and BI systems.
Monitor data performance and adjust infrastructure as needed.
Conduct research to address industry and business questions.
Utilize large data sets to resolve business issues.
Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods.
Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Discover hidden patterns using data.
Identify tasks that can be automated through data analysis.
Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data engineering or similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, including coding, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Experience in data architecture, data modeling, schema design, and software development.
Knowledge of ETL techniques and frameworks.
Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
Proficiency in object-oriented/object function scripting languages (Python, Java, C , etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
Knowledge of distributed systems related to data storage and computing.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
