ETL Processes: Build efficient ETL processes using various methods to facilitate seamless data movement between systems.
Data Quality and Security: Implement and enforce data quality standards and security measures to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with international data privacy regulations.
Data Modeling: Design data models that transform complex organizational data into easily accessible structures for operational, analytics, and reporting needs.
Data Transformation and Optimization: Utilize DBT or Snowflake native capabilities to transform and optimize data for accuracy, efficiency, and up-to-date insights.
Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes and workflows.
Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in handling educational data.
Visualization with Tableau: Utilize Tableau to deliver impactful data insights through meaningful visualizations.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong emphasis on data-related technologies.
Experience: 5 years of significant experience in data engineering roles, focusing on scalable data solutions.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
Database Expertise: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly proficiency in Snowflake.
