Duties And ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect innovative products and solutions.
Write clean, scalable code using .NET and JavaScript programming languages.
Continuously review and implement best practices based on industry standards.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring designs to life.
Work closely with product leadership to understand priorities and requirements.
Implement software enhancements and improvements.
Support delivery teams when rolling out new software to customers.
Advocate for the engineering team's needs to leadership.
Manage engineers aligned with the product team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience5 years of experience developing with .NET, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
3 years of database experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, TFS, and Jira.
Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesExperience with VB.NET for existing application frameworks.
Proficiency with Typescript, Angular, and MVC for future application frameworks.
Experience with cloud computing, particularly Azure.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Experience with both relational and non-relational database development, including creating database schemas, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Proficient use of GIT source control (we use GitHub).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Entity Framework, LINQ, REST, SOAP, RPC, APIs, and DevExpress is a plus.
Understanding of automated testing/unit testing frameworks.
Solid grasp of APIs and Web Services.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is typically quiet to moderate, with the employee working in an office setting at an individual workstation, using the telephone and computer.
Physical DemandsAbility to remain stationary for most of the day.
Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copier.
Occasionally moves about inside the office.
Frequently communicates via telephone.
