Join Our Team
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical planning and requirements creation for the integration and deployment of complex enterprise systems. You will create and document system configurations and guidelines, organize and distribute documentation to support an end-to-end integrated solution architecture, and plan, coordinate, develop, and supervise all requirements related to the integration of internal and external applications.

Planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all requirements related to the integration of internal and external applications.
Support integration systems by defining the use of APIs, message formats, data mappings, and orchestrating the flow of information between systems.
Support lab and field trial deployments to ensure the end-to-end integrated solution validation.
Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technical requirements.
Conduct analysis to determine integration needs.
Design requirements to facilitate integration and data exchange between existing systems and newly developed adaptation systems, as well as between developed adaptation systems and customer-specific systems.
Develop and document guidelines for customer systems to successfully integrate with newly developed adaptation systems.
Create and track complex configurations for end-to-end solution integration.
Create requirements and develop traceability for integrated solution documentation.
Transfer integrated solution requirements to developers of adaptation systems.
Keep current with technological developments within the industry.
Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.
Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance on practices, procedures, and techniques.
Offer expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture, modeling, and system architecture, including integration best practices.
Assist in tracking and evaluating performance metrics.
Ensure the team delivers requirements and documentation on time, to specification, and within budget.
Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of integrated systems.
Communicate project status to various levels of management.
Oversee the technology and standards for version control of solution requirements and documentation.
Demonstrate expertise in engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application in integrated systems.
Display process design and redesign skills.
Present and defend architectural, design, and technical requirements to internal audiences and customers.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
Preferred QualificationsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in the cable/telecommunications industry.
Skills & Experience We're Looking ForUnderstanding of key networking protocols and technologies (DOCSIS, HTTP/S, TCP, UDP).
Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols.
Familiarity with data serialization formats like XML and JSON.
Familiarity with advanced software technologies and environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively with a strong bias for architecting at scale.
