About The RoleAs a Travel Technology Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements to enhance agent productivity and reduce errors through innovative solutions.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing Solutions:
Collaborate with operations and key stakeholders.
Evaluate requests against existing standards.
Conduct GDS hit/scan evaluations.
Create detailed requirements for development or configuration.
Communicate requirements effectively using JIRA.
Support design and programming elements, such as PNRs and profiles.
Ensure clear understanding of designs with designers and developers.
Project ManagementSchedule and manage deliverables to meet project scope.
Assess request requirements and assist with timelines and priorities.
Identify opportunities and risks.
Coordinate with other BCD Travel departments to achieve project goals.
DocumentationAssist in maintaining Confluence or process flows as needed.
Document solutions in release notes.
Proactively update product roadmap, project plan, and business case.
Maintain project logs.
Technical ExpertiseDevelop advanced understanding of GDS and BCD Travel technology products.
Proactively address customer challenges and provide alternative solutions.
Support robotic applications alongside point-of-sale applications.
Configure account, market, and application updates using Configuration Manager.
About YouStrong problem-solving and process reengineering skills.
Ability to manage medium and high-risk projects/accounts.
Extensive experience with travel reservations and processes.
Proficient in English.
Experience working with GDS systems.
Programming experience in GDS or non-industry languages (VB, JAVA, .net).
