Position: Business Development Director (Remote, Des Moines Area)
Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for turning opportunities into results? We're looking for a Business Development Director who thrives in building meaningful relationships, identifying business opportunities, and crafting tailored solutions to help clients achieve their strategic goals.
In this role, you will be a key player in our mission to transform inspiration into real, impactful results for our clients. Your expertise will guide businesses in attracting and retaining top talent, running successful sales contests and incentives, developing customer loyalty programs, and organizing memorable corporate events.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the Des Moines area.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their critical business strategies.
Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to design and execute customized solutions that align with client objectives.
Utilize your deep understanding of employee engagement, sales incentives, and corporate events to provide valuable insights and strategies.
What We're Looking ForLocation: Must reside in the greater Des Moines area. This role is remote with the requirement to be in the office as needed.
Experience: Minimum of seven years in B2B sales, specifically targeting Fortune 500 companies. A history of no more than three jobs in the past 10 years.
Track Record: Proven success in new business development, selling marketing solutions, or professional business services. Demonstrable experience in growing revenue in large accounts, with sales volumes of $250k per sale.
Sales Cycle Expertise: Comfortable navigating various sales cycles ranging from three to twelve months.
Education: A four-year college degree is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is a plus.
Compensation And BenefitsBase Salary: $135,000 (non-negotiable), with an expected first-year total on-target earnings (OTE) of $175,000 - $200,000.
Performance Rewards: Eligible for a full suite of performance management rewards, including an annual President's Club travel award.
Additional Benefits: Includes a car allowance, company laptop, mobile device reimbursement, and a full expense account for client entertainment.
