About The RoleAs a Healthcare Business Development Manager at our organization, you will play a pivotal role in building new relationships and expanding our presence in targeted hospital accounts. Your responsibilities will include identifying the needs of c-suite decision makers and effectively presenting the value of our wide range of physician-founded and led medical group services, including emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesia, and telemedicine.
Key DetailsOffice-based role with occasional attendance at trade shows and hospital association meetings (up to 10% travel).
Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic territory prospecting and outreach plans in coordination with Regional Vice Presidents.
Source and schedule initial meetings with C-suite hospital decision makers to create qualified sales opportunities.
Research hospital data and metrics to identify target account needs.
Utilize various channels for proactive prospecting, including phone, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Cultivate internal physician relationships to drive sales growth.
Manage inbound leads from marketing and guide them through the sales process.
Support the RFP process in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Collaborate with the marketing department and physician leaders on crafting collateral and executing social media strategies.
Conduct follow-up activities after sales meetings, including data collection and follow-up calls.
Meet and exceed sales and business development activities, new meeting, and pipeline expectations consistently.

Minimum 2 years of consistent, verifiable success in business development and sales support within the healthcare industry.
Preferred 3 years of consistent, verifiable success in business development and sales support within the healthcare industry, including experience calling on c-suite decision makers.
