Position Available: Software Advocate
Are you passionate about software development and skilled at transforming complex technical concepts into engaging content? We are in search of an experienced Software Advocate to join our team. As a Software Advocate, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience, including surveying firms, engineering companies, and governmental organizations.
Role OverviewAt our company, we believe in the power of clear communication and genuine passion for our product, LP360. As a Software Advocate, your primary responsibility will be to promote LP360 and enhance brand recognition within the industry. You'll build relationships with partners, engage directly with customers to understand their needs, and collaborate with internal teams to create compelling technical content.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a champion for LP360, fostering brand recognition and loyalty.
Establish and nurture a network of partners to educate and promote LP360.
Engage with customers to cultivate a supportive community and identify opportunities for upselling.
Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to develop high-quality technical content, including blogs, webinars, tutorials, videos, and product demos.
Craft compelling value propositions and elevator pitches for LP360 features.
Cultivate a strong presence for LP360 on social media platforms and among industry influencers.
Coordinate with marketing to create a technical content calendar and organize events.
Expand the use of LP360 within educational institutions, particularly in GIS, LIDAR, and drone-related programs.
QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of successful sales experience, preferably in software sales.
Background in GIS or remote sensing software is required.
Ideally, experience in geospatial software sales, including familiarity with platforms such as ESRI, Carlson, Terrasolid, and others.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and engaging users in webinars and events.
Performance MetricsAchievement of sales targets for LP360 Drone licenses, LP360 Geospatial licenses, and LP360 Cloud subscriptions.
Active participation and engagement of users in webinars and events.
CompensationSalary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually USD (depending on experience), plus sales commission.
