Position SummaryAs a Media Strategist, you will lead paid media strategy across various platforms, including but not limited to paid search, sponsored listings, paid social, programmatic display/video, TV, radio, OOH, and print. You will mentor and manage a team of Media Specialists, provide strategic direction, oversee media campaign execution, and perform ongoing management of media campaigns, including planning, budget pacing and optimizations, as well as reporting and refinement.
What You'll BringExperience: Over three years in media planning, buying, and/or strategy specific to paid media, and client-facing experience.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and create actionable insights.
Campaign Management: Experience in evolving media campaigns to exceed clients' performance goals.
Leadership: Ability to teach and guide junior media professionals on effectively using paid media platforms.
Platform Expertise: In-platform expertise in a combination of the following:
Paid search: Google Ads, Bing Ads
Paid social: Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
Programmatic: The Trade Desk, Adobe, StrataView, etc.
Who You AreLeader: Proven track record of managing team members.
Curious: Passionate about expanding your knowledge.
Autonomous: Able to identify opportunities to take initiative and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Collaborative: Able to work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and effectiveness of media strategies.
Communicative: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organized: Able to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Adaptable: Able to apply learnings from the latest trends, tools, technologies, processes, and best practices to your work and others'.
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute ongoing strategic media plans across select clients, working closely with Account and Media team members to leverage client business goals and insights to create innovative and effective paid media campaigns.
Perform ongoing analysis of paid media campaigns, providing optimization recommendations to clients and internal team members.
Lead campaign reporting and insight analysis, with cadence varying by client.
Ensure quality assurance of all campaign setups prior to launch for select clients.
Supervise one to two Media Specialists, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, feedback, and support.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
