National Account Executive - Convenience Channel Team
Are you passionate about sales and looking to make a significant impact in the convenience channel? We are seeking a dedicated National Account Executive (NAE) to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on driving the success of our full portfolio of beverages, with a particular emphasis on the Coastal Carolinas and Southeast Business Units of a major national chain.
As a key member of our sales team, the NAE will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of customer relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to volume, profit, and share growth by enhancing distribution and availability of our key brands. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and margin strategy across our portfolio.
What You'll DoDevelop Relationships: Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders, including operations, various Routes to Market, and leadership teams.
Strategic Planning: Create short and long-term joint business plans (JBP) for key divisions, collaborating with internal functional support teams and external stakeholders to align and execute the plan.
Promotional Management: Oversee the entire promotional process from planning to execution, ensuring timely communication and adherence to retailer timelines.
Budget Management: Optimize net sales and margins within assigned trade budgets.
Marketing Customization: Tailor consumer marketing programs to drive brand growth and profitability.
Sales Communication: Communicate key initiatives to decision-makers, ensuring alignment with internal strategies and JBP.
Data Utilization: Use internal, syndicated, and point-of-sale (POS) data to identify opportunities and adjust plans to meet annual goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across all business facets to achieve best-in-class selling to divisions.
What We're Looking ForExperience: 5 years of consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales experience, particularly with national chain accounts.
Strategic Planning: Proven ability to build and execute a strategic annual operating plan (AOP) and leverage syndicated data in a solution-selling environment.
Channel Knowledge: Familiarity with the Convenience Channel, Direct Store Delivery (DSD), and major national chains is a plus.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work proactively with internal resources to drive strategic plans and manage budgets.
