Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outside Sales Representative with knowledge of window and door products. The ideal candidate will possess confidence, accountability, trustworthiness, honesty, a professional demeanor, persistence, strong listening skills, and a proven ability to develop and grow markets, along with maintaining customer relationships.

Location:
This is a remote position that requires daily travel. Driving distances depend on the location of the sales representative's home and customers, averaging 200-300 miles per day. The role also requires 4-5 overnight stays per month.
Sales Territory80 customers, with 40% based in Nebraska and the remainder in Eastern South Dakota.
We aim to expand further into eastern Wyoming and South Dakota.
Ideal Base Locations:
Omaha, Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Aberdeen, and neighboring cities.
Customer BaseBusiness-to-business within the building material sector.

Job RequirementsSales Representatives are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.
Essential FunctionsIdentify and establish contact with potential customers
Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
Generate and submit sales reports to management
Primary ResponsibilitiesQualify prospects within assigned sales territory and build a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals
Quickly move prospects through the sales process by delivering outstanding consultative sales and customer experiences
Update sales and client databases with current information
Stay informed on the latest industry developments by attending team meetings and training workshops
Negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales
Plan takeoffs
RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Must be able to travel, including 1-5 overnight stays per month
4 days of travel needed per week
Entry Level QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR
