Product Manager - Marketing & Operations Data
About The RoleAs the Product Manager of Marketing & Operations Data at our company, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accessibility and strategic utilization of data across various facets of our business. This includes analyzing product usage, mobile app engagement, user activity, progressive profiling, and sales data. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for our marketing teams, providing reliable segmentation, targeting, and reporting data essential for their campaigns. Your responsibilities will also involve optimizing data sharing across channels to ensure consistent and timely updates. Additionally, you'll innovate new methods for gathering and leveraging marketing and operational insights to drive our business forward.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate audience segments and suppressions within CDP or ESP platforms, ensuring seamless integration with marketing channels.
Collaborate with channel owners, engineering teams, and product owners to troubleshoot data errors and maintain data integrity.
Educate and empower our employees to efficiently scope audience sizes within our CDP or ESP platforms.
Understand the needs of channel owners deeply to develop comprehensive reporting that evaluates the effectiveness and health of our lifecycle communications.
Contribute to product strategy concerning operational data implementation and utilization.
Partner closely with counterparts to scale and stabilize our marketing communication platform.
Manage relationships with ESPs, CDPs, and Data Warehouse partners to optimize data workflows.
Ensure seamless integration between channel platforms and our data warehouse in collaboration with marketing channel owners.
Collaborate with upstream Product Managers and Engineers to identify and integrate source event data into our data platform.
Develop datasets and datamarts within Snowflake and CDP Platforms to support analytical and operational needs.
Skills & Qualifications3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or data management roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Deep understanding of the SaaS business model; experience with subscription marketing preferred.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Hands-on experience with ESPs (Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Marketo preferred), CDPs (Simon Data), Segmentation tools (Amplitude), and Data Warehouses (Snowflake).
Proficiency in SQL or other relational database programming languages.
Basic knowledge/comfort with HTML & CSS, Jinja, Freemarker.
Experience with client presentations and ability to present to executive leadership.
Strong project management capabilities.
CompensationTargeted Base Salary Range: $105,300.00 to $160,500.00
