General DescriptionThe Senior Director of Global Digital Communications will lead our digital communications efforts, including social media strategy and execution, commercial and pipeline communications, patient stories, and analytics. This role involves using our corporate narrative to enhance our global reputation, branding, and image. Responsibilities include creating and managing external digital/social communications, overseeing corporate digital/social media platforms, and coordinating external campaigns. You will collaborate with various teams to improve content aggregation and curation, supporting our mission, vision, and goals. Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement the digital communications strategy. Analyze trends and recommend improvements to strategies. Collaborate with agency partners for corporate digital and social media platforms. Manage day-to-day operations of external digital and social media platforms. Oversee paid media, social listening, and analytics for corporate social channels. Work with Corporate Affairs partners and communicators to curate and improve content, creating an enterprise network of contributors from various geographies and functions. Coordinate and prioritize third-party agency support. Required QualificationsBS degree in communications, English, or a related field with 12 years of experience in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry, or an MA/MS/MBA with 8 years of experience. 10 years of corporate communications experience, including leadership in digital and social communications. Strong people and project management skills. Excellent collaboration, prioritization, and organizational skills. High level of communication technology knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compensation packages are determined by factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, certifications, education, and work location. Salary ranges reflect base salary only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible for an annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
