Location:
This is a fully remote position based in New York City, open to candidates within reasonable driving distance to a major international airport in the Northeast region of the United States.

PurposeIn line with our company and departmental goals, this role involves supervising and guiding the sales force in a specified region, including overseeing sales activities, training, incentives, and discipline.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Direct and supervise the sales team to achieve assigned work.
Hiring and Training: Recruit and train sales personnel; evaluate their progress and results.
Sales Management: Plan and manage regional sales efforts with the support of the sales team.
Reporting: Prepare regular and special reports on regional activities and results, including customer responses and complaints.
Competitor Analysis: Stay informed of competitor activities and communicate findings to management.
Sales Staff Supervision: Set goals, strategize, and motivate the sales team to perform.
Cross-Department Coordination: Work with other company departments to achieve individual and regional objectives.
Policy Adherence: Ensure sales staff comply with company policies and procedures.
Sales Efforts: Increase sales volume through direct customer engagement and supporting sales representatives in the field.
Communication: Maintain continual communication with the sales team regarding pricing, trends, policies, and procedures.
Problem Solving: Address field problems, monitor promotional budgets, and establish relationships with customers.
Sales Programs: Advise on and follow up with sales promotional programs.
Meetings and Development: Conduct regional/national sales meetings and inform the sales force of new product and policy developments.
Recruitment and Development: Oversee recruitment, training, and development of sales staff in the specified territory.
Market Research: Identify new market opportunities and advertising techniques.
Budget Management: Submit budgeted expenses and sales for the region.
Method Improvement: Develop or improve methods in manufacturing, marketing, personnel, etc.
Special Projects: Assist with sales promotions, merchandising, product development, or market research.
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
Flexibility: Available to work various days and hours, including weekends.
Travel: Approximately 50% travel required.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, management experience preferred, technical skills (e.g., SAP, Excel).
