About The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Account Manager to spearhead growth and strategic initiatives for our key accounts across various product categories. In this role, you'll be the go-to partner for essential customers in distribution, retail, builder, and contractor channels. Your mission will be to enhance relationships, drive mutual value, and foster deeper connections with our top clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Growth: Develop and execute business plans to expand existing customer accounts, negotiate agreements, and create tailored product offerings.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with decision-makers and influencers at both executive and regional levels to create value and drive business success.
  • Strategic Meetings: Lead or participate in both in-person and virtual quarterly and annual business reviews to set growth strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Achieve Objectives: Meet and exceed strategic goals and KPIs, driving pull strategies and ensuring profitable sales.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with field sales teams to support district and branch-level goals.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer insights to refine sales strategies and support channel growth.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends to anticipate customer needs and navigate the competitive landscape effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: At least 5 years working with key business accounts, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, executive-level sales expertise, and the ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with market trends, competitive landscape, and our value proposition.

CompensationThe average earnings for this role are between \(170K and \)180K, including base salary and commission, plus benefits.
