Field Sales Executive - Public Sector and Commercial Market

Your RoleAs a Field Sales Executive, you'll be key in driving $1M in new revenue by acquiring new customers and developing programs for sales growth within the public sector (SLED) and commercial markets. Your territory will cover the state of Missouri.
What You'll DoStrategy Development: Create and implement a strategy for territory penetration. Continuously assess and adjust your approach to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Prospect Qualification: Evaluate potential customers based on size, spending, and growth potential. Route leads to the appropriate team members based on sales criteria.
Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients to showcase our values and solutions.
Engaging Presentations: Use marketing materials to create impactful presentations that drive engagement and conversion.
Representation: Attend conferences, tradeshows, and events to represent our brand and secure new customers.
Custom Pricing Solutions: Develop and present tailored pricing solutions for high-growth commercial clients.
Education Sector Growth: Utilize education contracts and purchasing partnerships to acquire new education customers and drive growth in this segment.
Smooth Transitions: Ensure a seamless handoff to the account management team once a customer is committed.
Performance Metrics: Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key metrics.
CRM Maintenance: Keep accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, including activity logs and pipeline management.
Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and apply feedback to enhance performance. Contribute positively to team culture and lead by example.
Revenue Growth: Collaborate with sales leadership and peers to expand revenue beyond traditional office supplies. Build strong, trusted relationships with key accounts to consolidate business from other vendors.

4 years of field sales experience.
Ability to travel within the territory as needed, approximately 50%.
This is a remote role covering the state of Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications6 months of experience in the public sector market.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in business development.
