Get It Recruit - Professional Services is Hiring a Senior Project Manager - Federal Government Contractor Near Washington, DC

This is an excellent career opportunity with an immediate hiring need for a Senior Project Manager to lead technology projects for a federal government contractor in the Washington, DC area. This position is fully remote with a salary range of \(130,000 - \)135,000 along with excellent benefits.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will create impactful digital solutions by leveraging your domain expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to guide projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our product team to make key decisions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and analyze data to drive project success, ensuring that our products meet client expectations and align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Collaborate with management, engineering, and operations teams to define and shape the product vision and strategy.
    • Guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that align with client goals.
    • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and briefs to promote a shared vision and success metrics.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Partner with clients to identify key challenges and prioritize outcomes.
    • Oversee product delivery, ensuring it meets quality standards and client expectations.
    • Act as the primary technical contact for stakeholders.
  • Agile Expertise:
    • Utilize your deep knowledge of agile methodologies to lead iterative, outcome-driven development.
    • Make critical decisions to keep projects on track and adapt to evolving client needs.
    • Balance strategic goals with tactical support as required.
  • Team Development:
    • Mentor and coach product team members to support their professional growth.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advocacy and Innovation:
    • Advocate for user needs and lean methods in priority-setting and trade-off management.
    • Drive the adoption of iterative, outcome-focused work practices.
    • Develop strategies to maximize value delivery within program constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
  • Proven track record in project management, with a focus on process maintenance and enforcement.
  • Experience in technically oriented fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills And Experience
  • Quality Assurance (QA) background.
  • Expertise in mobile product development.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Professional certifications such as CSPO, CPM, CSM, or other related credentials.
  • Must be a US Citizen or legal resident, eligible to work domestically.
  • Ability to obtain a low-level security clearance.
