Senior Tester for OASys and Paperless

As a Senior Tester, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and reliability of our applications, contributing to the enhancement of user experience and data protection.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Tester to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive functional testing to validate the performance and security of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical acumen, impeccable attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
ResponsibilitiesConduct functional testing to ensure adherence to specified requirements and identify any anomalies or defects.
Collaborate with developers to address and resolve identified bugs or vulnerabilities in the exam application and paperless solution.
Assess the security measures of the software to detect and mitigate potential risks, safeguarding user data and maintaining application integrity.
Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks, latency issues, or resource constraints that may impact application performance.
Evaluate application performance across different environments, devices, and browsers to ensure optimal functionality.
Gather feedback from target exam users to ensure that the application meets their needs and expectations.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating the risk of legal issues or penalties.
Produce clear and concise documentation to document testing procedures and results.
RequirementsStrong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear documentation.
10 years of relevant experience in software testing or a related field.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with at least 5 years of experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
Additional DetailsJob Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: 10 years of relevant experience
License/Certification: PMP certification preferred
Work Location: Hybrid remote in QUEENS, NY 11101
