Get It Recruit - Real Estate is Hiring an Assistant Project Manager - Construction Risk Management Near Coppell, TX

DescriptionAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients and ensuring smooth construction processes. This position involves managing construction risks, updating clients on project status, and coordinating essential details, including site visit schedules, potential delays, and required documents. You will also prepare Construction Risk Management (CRM) proposals and final invoices.
Your involvement will span a variety of exciting commercial projects, such as multi-family residential buildings, office spaces, hospitality venues, student housing, medical offices, congregate care facilities, retail spaces, and distribution/warehousing centers. Your work will commence with reviewing construction documents to ensure completeness and compliance with best practices, followed by distributing these documents to local project managers or consultants for site visits.
Familiarity with industry-standard documents such as AIAG702/703 Pay Applications, lien waivers, Gantt charts, change orders, RFI logs, buy-out logs, and stored material inventory logs is essential. Experience with software tools like Quire (for report writing), Sessions (for project tracking and invoicing), and FileShare/DropBox/Box.com is also beneficial.
You will be part of a dynamic team that advises clients—primarily equity investors or construction lenders—on various risks, including design, quality, constructability, completion, schedule, and costs. Regular communication with clients through emails and phone calls will be part of your responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility to work 100% remotely.
