As a Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll provide exceptional service, connecting with members daily both by phone and in person. This position is based on-site at our South Tryon Office in South Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities And DutiesProactively solicit and originate new residential mortgage loans to meet quality and production goals.
Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and gather required information.
Manage appointments and handle online and telephone mortgage loan requests.
Prepare mortgage loan applications with necessary supporting documentation for submission to underwriting.
Ensure exceptional member experience with ongoing communication throughout the loan process.
Have a working knowledge of all lending products and services and a strong commitment to cross-selling.
Establish and maintain relationships with branch personnel, realtors, builders, and developers for referrals.
Work closely with mortgage processors to ensure prompt member service.
Adhere to all state and federal statutes and regulations related to lending.
Maintain the integrity of all member-sensitive data.
Attend annual MLO training to maintain active NMLS status.
Comply with policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
QualificationsFive years of mortgage or lending experience in a financial institution.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable.
Mortgage Underwriting Experience Is Preferred.Availability Monday-Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-6 pm.
Must work on-site (Remote work not available).
