Loan Officer
We are seeking a skilled Loan Officer to evaluate, approve or deny loan applications for individuals and businesses. As a crucial link between our clients and financial services, you will facilitate the loan process and ensure qualified applicants receive timely financial assistance.
Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants by analyzing financial documents and conducting interviews.
• Evaluate loan applications within designated limits and determine suitable repayment plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their application status.
• Justify loan decisions and document outcomes accurately.
• Guide clients through loan agreements and advise them on relevant policies and limitations.
• Stay updated on various loan products and financial services to better assist clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client accounts and transactions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate loan options.
• Build and maintain referral networks, promoting additional services and meeting sales targets.
• Foster trust and client satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role.
• Familiarity with banking software and computer proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of lending products and industry practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented approach with sales capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
