Position Overview: Mortgage Consultant Reporting to the Consumer Direct Sales Manager, the Mortgage Consultant plays a crucial role in maintaining our servicing portfolio and generating loan volume from various inbound and outbound lead sources. You'll promote Mortgage products, uphold quality standards, and provide coaching and training to team members. Collaborating closely with the Mortgage Consultant Team Lead, you'll strategize to achieve sales targets effectively. Key Responsibilities
Originate mortgage loans from inbound leads, existing portfolios, and marketing campaigns.
Conduct client interviews, analyze income and debt, and process loan applications through automated underwriting systems.
Ensure timely collection of required documents for processing and underwriting.
Proactively make outbound calls to retain existing accounts and follow up with portfolio clients.
Respond to incoming calls and address customer inquiries promptly.
Collaborate with applicants to determine suitable loan products, terms, and pricing.
Meet individual and departmental sales goals while adhering to company standards and procedures.
Maintain accurate records in CRM (Contact Relationship Manager).
Requirements
NMLS License required.
Minimum 1 year of phone sales experience in mortgage industry (refinance and purchase market).
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple loans efficiently.
Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data.
Professional interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
Willingness to work within designated hours of operation.
