Position: Licensed Title Agent - North Carolina

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing various real property documents such as title searches, deeds, tax records, and surveys with precision and attention to detail.
• Producing residential and commercial title insurance binders, policies, and endorsements based on attorney's preliminary title opinions.
• Coordinating with underwriters and closing offices to address inquiries and ensure accurate policy issuance.
• Adhering to underwriting procedures and state laws to determine necessary requirements and exceptions for binders and policies.
• Identifying title defects and seeking legal counsel for insurability advice.
• Corresponding with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify information.

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency in Title Insurance and Title Policy issuance.
• Willingness to learn procedural rules of various Department of Insurance regulations.
• Possession of a Title Insurance License (Florida).
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in SoftPro and Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and compliance.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse customers.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with company software and office equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional image and demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and build professional relationships with customers.
