- Transactional Expertise: Lead and manage a variety of commercial real estate transactions, focusing on large loan financing, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and related contracts.
- Title and Survey Review: Conduct detailed title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential risks or issues related to properties, providing strategic counsel to clients based on your findings.
- Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence on real estate properties and related assets to ensure compliance with legal requirements and identify potential liabilities.
- Client Counseling: Work closely with clients to understand their goals and provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice to support their commercial real estate ventures.
- Transaction Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of real estate transactions, from initial negotiation to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
- Research and Analysis: Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends, providing innovative legal solutions to complex issues.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior associates and support staff, contributing to their professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other practice groups within the firm, including finance, tax, and corporate, to deliver comprehensive legal services to our clients.
- Client Development: Participate in business development activities, such as client presentations, networking events, and industry conferences, to expand our client base and build lasting relationships.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the state bar, in good standing.
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a strong focus on large loan financing, title, and survey work.
- Proven ability to manage complex real estate transactions and offer creative legal solutions.
- Deep understanding of real estate financing, including debt and equity structures.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional legal services and exceeding client expectations.
- A client-focused approach and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
