About The RoleAs we embark on rapid global expansion, we're seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our Finance Organization. In this role, you'll oversee financial reporting and tax compliance, focusing on indirect tax and 1099 reporting. Collaborating with tax agencies, you'll handle revenue recognition, research taxability of products/services, and manage state indirect tax issues and audits. Working closely with our US Tax Team and external advisors, you'll lead multi-state tax planning efforts, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Working closely with our US Tax Team and external advisors, you'll lead multi-state tax planning efforts, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance of indirect tax returns, including sales tax, use tax, excise, and gross receipts taxes.
- Manage multi-state tax planning, including nexus, tax registrations, and exemption certificates.
- Utilize Vertex Cloud for taxability determination and exemption management.
- Conduct research on taxability and revenue reporting.
- Manage 1099 reporting and sales/use tax accounting.
- Handle day-to-day operational tax matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist with other tax compliance and special projects.
- Mentor junior staff and manage workload effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8-10 years of experience in tax management.
- Proficiency in state sales/use tax fundamentals.
- Experience with enterprise software like Oracle Cloud and Vertex Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and intermediate Excel skills.
- Adaptability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Passion for leveraging technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
