Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to gather necessary client documentation for accurate completion of account opening forms.
- Verify client KYC/KYA documentation to ensure compliance with banking and regulatory standards.
- Conduct and review OFAC and ChexSystems searches.
- Ensure all directions from lenders and servicers comply with established agreements before processing disbursement wires.
- Open and manage accounts in various banking systems, maintaining appropriate controls tailored to each account type.
- Process account closures as per client, lender, or servicer requests.
- Conduct periodic client visits to strengthen relationships and address any concerns.
- Undertake special projects and additional duties as needed.
- Uphold regulatory and compliance policies and complete mandatory training to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a financial environment.
- Competencies:
- Strong client service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and banking regulations, including AML.
- Proficiency in Excel is preferred.
- Physical Demands: This role does not involve unusual physical exertion.
